Where the Grass Used to Be
$50
A playful and tactile work that blurs the line between image and material. The surface of the offset cardboard has been deliberately stripped away, revealing its torn layers and transforming the paper itself into part of the landscape. A small flock of sheep appears to graze directly on the exposed surface, as if they have eaten away the grass and left the land bare behind them. The rough, imperfect texture of the cardboard gives the piece a sense of movement and spontaneity, creating a simple but thoughtful dialogue between nature, material, and the act of creation.
